On February 16, 1989, Nowoczesne Targi Gdańskie S.A. was founded. The company celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. We have been organizing various events in Pomerania for 3rs, not only on a national but also international scale.

Although the Tricity’s trade fair tradition dates back to 1947, when MTG Gdańsk International Fair organized a trade fair event presenting Poland’s export opportunities in August, efforts to create a significant trade fair center in Gdańsk were made more than 40 years after that event. The result was the establishment in 1989 of the Joint Stock Company Nowoczesne Targi Gdańskie.

The past years were very demanding for the company. This was mainly related to the period of the COVID-19 pandemic and the war on our eastern border. As a team, we overcame the difficulties and today, with full responsibility, we can say that we are stronger. This is evidenced by the events that we organized or co-organized in 2023, such as: TRAKO – 16th International Railway Fair, BALTEXPO – 22nd International Maritime Fair and Conferences, St. Dominik and the Christmas Market, two editions of AMBERIF – International Amber and Jewelry Fair and EuroSkills 2023 and the Inside Seaside festival.

We would like to thank everyone who has been with us over the years and supported our activities. Let this be the next step in the long and fruitful history of our organization! We will celebrate throughout this year – stay with us!
