ZOO Festival Gdańsk for animal lovers

The great celebration of animal lovers, the ZOO Festival 2024, is already in March. Dozens of species – from cats, dogs, horses, sheep and ponies to capybaras, porcupines, flying hawks, camels and praying mantises. Additionally, lectures and lectures by experts, zoopsychologists, behaviorists and veterinarians. Interesting shows, inspiring meetings. Two days to learn more about the fascinating world of “spotted, shaggy, striped and winged”. The organizer CSMPRO invites you to the festival.

Anyone who loves four-legged animals, those with feathers, bags, fluffy animals and those with scales, must visit the ZOO Festival, which will open its doors to all animal lovers for the second time on March 9 and 10. Guests are treated to two days of inspiring conversations, advice, suggestions and hints. Two days of meetings with those who jump, run, fly and swim. Two days of gaining knowledge from the best. And finally, two days of adventure for those who love practical and less practical accessories for pets.

ZOO Festival is a celebration of all animal lovers. We want to bring their amazing world closer to both adults and children. We want to share knowledge and experience. As last year, there will be no shortage of interesting talks, lectures and shows. We invite, among others: dog trainers, behaviorists, dog therapists, zoopsychologists, ornithologists, veterinarians. Renowned manufacturers of pet accessories will visit us. We also encourage foundations and associations that provide help to “lesser brothers” in need to participate in the event – says Wojciech Kempiński, the originator and organizer of the festival. – We want everyone to be able to spend an interesting time at AmberExpo, finding something for themselves, having fun, learning and meeting those who are not easy to meet on a daily basis, such as capybaras, flying hawks and porcupines.

ZOO Festival: to know more

Experts, trainers, behaviorists and zoopsychologists will come to Gdańsk again. You will not only be able to learn everything (or almost everything) about the proper care of animals, their nature and habits from the best source, but also take part in numerous thematic shows.

There will be amazing lectures – Nat Zielinska, Salto’s dog’s guardian, will talk about communication with dogs. Salto is a pioneer in the use of… speech! Thanks to voice mats, it revolutionizes interspecies communication.

Communication with a dog is the basis of a good relationship, but Nat and Salto are reaching a higher level, their bond is very impressive – emphasizes Małgorzata Zapadka, co-organizer of the event and a dog mother. – This year we have prepared a lot of interesting lectures for dog lovers like me. Our guests will be able to learn how to motivate a dog, raise a puppy, deal with anxiety and create a safe home for both children and our pets. I’m also waiting for dog acrobatics shows and a real dog photographer!

ZOO festival: to get to know

The festival is a great opportunity for children and adults to learn about the fascinating world of fauna. The organizers have prepared a rich program that focuses on the diversity and fascinating aspects of animal life. Participants will have the opportunity to see many species and learn more about their life in the natural environment, behavior, habits and needs.

You will be able to visit several zones, including: terrarium – with exotic reptiles and amphibians; dedicated to ungulates – the stars here will undoubtedly be the Bactrian camel, alpacas, ponies and horses; zones of exotic mammals, farm animals, birds and fish.

It will definitely be great fun for the youngest festival goers, but not only them. Live meeting with parrots, turtles, ferrets, rabbits, flying owls, owls and meerkats. In addition, dogs, cats, the popular Garra Rufa fish, Poitou donkeys, toucans, chameleons and even porcupines – says Maciej Barczuk from the Festival ZOO, privately a father and guardian of Bruce’s dog. – Time to learn, play, relax. We invite you to the festival with your family, friends, acquaintances and pets! There will be no boredom, I assure you.

ZOO Festival: to help

The ZOO Festival encourages the participation of pro-animal organizations, including: foundations and associations. For them, it is a great opportunity to show themselves, talk about their activities, present volunteering and other forms of active help, such as a temporary home. Last year, the festival hosted, among others, representatives of the Sopotkowo shelter, the Kotikowo foundation and Help4Herbs. After the festival, he also supported the tiny Ratuj Adoptuj Pomocy Foundation with food, toys, and beds.

ZOO Festival: to have fun

The event is not only about learning. The organizers made sure that its participants had a nice time, having fun, resting and participating in numerous activities. The youngest can enjoy thematic animations, cat face painting, games, competitions and special workshops. You will be able to try on a beekeeper’s costume, listen to fairy tales about Pretzel the Dog, and even benefit from curative therapy! It turns out that close contact with hens through touch, smell and sound has a calming and relaxing effect, and for children it is a truly unique experience! There will also be horse rides that were so popular at last year’s edition.

ZOO Festival: for you!

This largest zoological exhibition in Pomerania is addressed to a wide audience: children, adults, animal guardians, hobbyists, entrepreneurs from the zoological industry, educators, foundations, associations and exhibitors.

We hope that the event will become a permanent part of the Pomeranian event calendar, and over time it will become the largest event of this type in Poland. We are finalizing the program, but today we can invite you to the cat exhibition of the Gdańskie Lwy Felinological Club Association, a dog exhibition, lectures on bull terriers, which, in our opinion, are unjustly considered an aggressive breed, or falconry shows. It will be inspiring – assures Wojciech Kempiński.

Among the speakers who have already confirmed their presence at the event will be Nat Zielinska from Salto&Nat, an expert in dog communication, falconer Marlena Koźlińska, Paweł Miłosz, dog trainer, dog behaviorist; Aleksandra Musiał, dog therapist and veterinary technician; Ada Włoch, zoopsychologist, veterinary technician, Aleks Borysewicz, dog trainer and participant of the Got Talent program and Dr. Agnieszka Czujkowska, chief veterinarian of ZOO Warsaw.
