EDU OFFSHORE WIND
Today, Amber Expo hosts several thousand pupils and students, as well as several dozen companies from the offshore wind energy industry.
– Education, especially in the field of new professions and new technologies. All the opportunities that are opening up with changes in our world is extremely important for the future of our city and region. That is why the initiative of an educational fair in the offshore industry, including the wind industry, in a place like Gdańsk on the Baltic Sea is extremely important. I believe that many young people will take advantage of this opportunity, said the Mayor of Gdańsk, Aleksandra Dulkiewicz.
The EDU Offshore Wind fair at Amber Expo was organized for young people who are considering a career in the offshore and offshore wind industry. This is a fast-growing sector that will soon need tens of thousands of skilled workers.
– This is a very important event for our coastal region, because we are currently in the process of energy transformation, which will last for the next 20-30 years. Projects within the Baltic Sea will develop, which offers amazing development opportunities for our industry. We also strongly emphasize that both women and men have the same access to this industry – said Łukasz Kneba, co-organizer of the event.
Over 75 exhibitors from Poland and abroad, including offshore wind farm developers, schools, universities and business representatives, gathered within the area of five thousand square meters. At the fair, you can see many interesting exhibits and use VR simulators, and debates and discussion panels are held on two stages.
The EDU OFF SHORE WIND fair is an excellent opportunity for large development companies to meet young people who see their future in the wind energy industry.
