International sailing ship rally – time for Baltic Sail Gdańsk will take place in Gdańsk on 23-26 August 2024. The 28th edition of the sailing ship rally is ahead of us. Every year, more and more units appear, which perfectly fit into the image of Gdańsk. During the event, you can get to know different sailing ships and go on one of the prepared cruises.

Baltic Sail is an international agreement signed by cities of the Baltic Sea region, initiated by the German port of Rostock in 1996. The aim of its originators was and is to promote the maritime heritage of the European Baltic Sea region and to support traditional Baltic shipping from port to port.

Currently, Baltic Sail includes: Gdańsk, Klaipeda, Rostock, Karlskrona, Nysted, Turku, Szczecin, Sassnitz. This year, once again, sailing festivals will be held in the ports associated with Baltic Sail, introducing their residents and tourists to the maritime traditions of the Baltic Sea region.
