Pomeranian Intermodal Transport Congress 2025
The fourth edition of the Pomeranian Intermodal Transport Congress will be held in Gdańsk on October 28, 2025. This year, we will focus on, among other things, systemic support for the development of intermodal transport and developing recommendations for the Ministry of Infrastructure in this area, the importance of Poland as an industrial, commercial, and logistics base for Ukraine, and ideas for increasing intermodal competitiveness – from the creation of an energy exchange to lower energy prices and the revitalization and expansion of railway sidings. Issues related to human resources and the green transition will also be addressed.
Each year, the Congress welcomes over 200 participants representing central and local governments at various levels, seaports, rail freight carriers, marshals’ offices, infrastructure managers, academia, and industry organizations. The Congress is organized by the TOR Economic Advisory Team and the AmberExpo Gdańsk International Fair.
TThe panels will focus on the state’s role in shaping the conditions for intermodal development—from deregulation through regulations and better regulation to institutional and financial support. Strategic investments and the improvement of transport routes (border crossings, point infrastructure, rail network capacity) will also be discussed. Considerable attention will be devoted to transport within Ukraine itself, the importance of Polish ports in supporting Kyiv (both during and after the war), and key raw materials transported eastward from Poland.
These and many other issues will be discussed by panelists and audience members gathered at the fourth Pomeranian Intermodal Transport Congress. We invite you to register!
