AMBERIF Spring 2026

Gdańsk is once again the world capital of amber and design

The next edition of the AMBERIF International Amber and Jewellery Fair – one of the most important industry events in Europe dedicated to amber, jewellery, and modern design – will take place at the AMBEREXPO Exhibition and Convention Centre in Gdańsk from March 26–28, 2026.

AMBERIF is a meeting place for professionals: producers, designers, wholesalers, gallery owners, collectors, and industry media representatives. For years, the fair has served as a platform for exchanging knowledge, presenting premiere collections, and establishing international business relationships.

AMBERIF – a meeting space for the industry

The previous edition of AMBERIF Spring attracted 2,300 trade visitors from 38 countries, and 205 exhibitors from 12 countries presented their products, confirming the international character and significance of the event. While exhibitor registration for the 2026 edition is still ongoing, the Fair’s program is already being intensively developed.

One of the key events will be a seminar by the International Amber Association – a long-time partner of AMBERIF, which celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026. This will provide an opportunity to summarize the association’s achievements and discuss the challenges and development directions of the amber market.

In addition, one day of the fair will be dedicated to a conference on the use of amber in the creative industries. Organizers will highlight the potential of amber beyond traditional jewelry – as a material used in accessories design, functional design, architecture, and marketing activities, among other applications. These are areas in which creators, architects, and communication and branding specialists are increasingly interested.

Competitions and design promotion

As every year, the winner of the prestigious AMBERIF Selection competition will be selected from among the event’s exhibitors.

Concurrently, applications are being accepted for the international AMBERIF Design Award, which broke all records in the previous edition, with organizers receiving 365 entries from 34 countries. This year’s theme is “The Magic of Matter,” and the deadline for submissions is February 8, 2026.

AMBER Vibes – amber on the catwalk

Following the conclusion of the first day of the fair, a unique side event will take place – the AMBER Vibes fashion and amber show. The show will feature works by young artists from the Image Creation School Complex in Gdańsk, as well as artists who work with amber on a daily basis and are also AMBERIF exhibitors.

The show’s artistic director is Lidia Popiel – a photographer, model, and long-time amber ambassador.

The AMBER Vibes show is the only part of the event open to the public outside the industry – amber and fashion enthusiasts. Tickets will be available on eBilet. It’s worth noting that AMBER Vibes is a side event of AMBERIF, but not a part of it – a show ticket does not entitle you to admission to the fair, and registration for AMBERIF does not automatically guarantee admission.

AMBERIF 2026 promises to be a multifaceted event combining business, knowledge, design, and art, as well as a dialogue between tradition and modern approaches to amber. The organizers invite all professionals and enthusiasts to Gdańsk who want to be part of an international community centered around one of the most fascinating natural materials.
