Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie and the BT Foundation announce compensation for Remcon participants following the cancellation of the event's final day.
Following the unexpected cancellation of part of the Remcon events planned for 15 February 2026, Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie and the BT Foundation, as co-organisers of the event, are providing details of compensation for participants. MTG will cover the costs associated with the compensation in order to minimise the inconvenience caused.
Compensation for Festival participants
- All those who purchased tickets for the events cancelled on 15 February 2026 will receive a proportional refund:
- A proportional refund of the original price for the cancelled events (the two-hour night session on Sunday 15 February and the one-hour block from 8:00 to 16:00 on Sunday 15 February 2026).
- Refunds will be processed automatically by the Foundation via the przelewy24.pl service within 14 working days, while the costs associated with this process will be covered by MTG.
Compensation for exhibitors
Exhibitors who paid fees to take part in the Festival will receive a refund proportional to the cancelled day of the event. Refunds and invoice corrections will be issued by the BT Foundation, with the financial portion covered by MTG.
Compensation for other parties involved
Compensation is also being arranged for other parties involved in delivering Remcon. This is being handled directly by the BT Foundation.
MTG undertakes to provide compensation for those who provided organisational support for the event on behalf of the BT Foundation – the form this will take is yet to be determined.
In addition, MTG will cover the cost of refunding parking fees for those who parked in car parks P6 and P7 at AMBEREXPO before 11:00 on 15 February 2026.
Handling complaints
MTG has set up a dedicated mailbox: reklamacje@amberexpo.pl, which will handle enquiries relating to the cancelled day. Each complaint will be considered individually in cooperation with the BT Foundation.
The Foundation and MTG wish to express their deep regret over the circumstances that made it impossible to deliver the full programme of the event. The joint efforts of both organisations are aimed at minimising the inconvenience to participants, exhibitors and event partners as much as possible. The organisers thank everyone for their understanding and cooperation.
