Convenient and affordable Park&Ride during St Dominic's Fair!
Between 23 July and 15 August, drivers heading to St Dominic's Fair can leave their car at the P4 car park by Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk, or at the neighbouring P6 or P7 car parks at AmberExpo, and reach the venue by a special bus. The parking charge is 20 PLN per 12 hours. Between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm, the bus to the Fair (and back to the car park) requires no separate ticket, as the fare is included in the parking charge.
Park&Ride is an option available at major events worldwide. It involves setting aside a special zone where a driver can leave their car and reach the event venue by a specially provided vehicle. All drivers will be able to take advantage of this option during St Dominic's Fair. Why is it worth it?
Stress-free – you won't waste time or patience trying to find a space in the city centre.
Efficient – a special bus line will take you and your companions from AmberExpo to the Fair grounds in under 20 minutes! Buses run every 30 minutes.
Cheaper – the parking charge during operating hours at Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk and AmberExpo is 20 PLN for 12 hours from the moment you enter. By comparison, parking in the City Centre Paid Parking Zone would cost the same amount for around 3 hours.
Convenient – the special bus line stops at clearly marked points, with four stops along the route (in both directions), helping you avoid traffic jams.
Eco-friendly – using public transport reduces exhaust emissions, and parking outside the city centre improves safety and comfort for pedestrians and cyclists alike.
Any driver who parks their car during this period at the P4 car park by Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk, or at the P6 or P7 car parks by AmberExpo (ul. Żaglowa 11), can take a specially arranged express bus line to the venue and back to the car park afterwards. The bus runs along the following route:
Park&Ride: AmberExpo – Park&Ride: Main Railway Station (direction: Fair) – Park&Ride: St Dominic's Fair – Park&Ride: Main Railway Station (direction: AmberExpo) – Park&Ride: AmberExpo.
Car parks P4, P6 and P7 are available daily between 23 July and 15 August. The parking charge during these hours is 20 PLN per 12 hours.
This means you can spend a whole day happily browsing the Fair's stalls without worrying about the cost of parking.
Park&Ride not only saves you money on parking and fuel, but also spares you the worry of getting around by public transport.
