This will be a two-day celebration of music featuring foreign and Polish artists. Thanks to the enclosed, indoor space, there will be no need to worry about weather conditions. The AmberExpo hall can hold as many as 15,000 people. It's the perfect place to spend time with friends. That's how the first edition of Inside Seaside in Gdańsk is shaping up.
The festival market consists, on the one hand, of established, large music events with traditions, but also newer ones, for a younger audience – all of which take place in the summer season. In autumn, there is no large, indoor event in Poland with a varied music programme along the lines of European brands such as Iceland Airwaves, Sonar, Meltdown, Le Guess Who? or Pitchfork Festival Paris. This festival niche will be filled – and pioneered – by Inside Seaside.
The festival will take place in specially adapted AmberExpo halls, where, in comfortable conditions over two days, on three stages, leading names of the Polish and international electronic, rock and jazz scenes will perform. But that's not all: festival-goers will be able to make themselves at home in the Radio 357 cinema, to which Katarzyna Borowiecka will invite them, Radio 357 journalists will play silent disco sets, and there will also be talks and discussions, a food court, a relaxation area and themed zones. Inside Seaside is an indoor festival the likes of which Poland has not seen before – we encourage you to spend the weekend in a space buzzing with music as well as non-musical attractions.
Inside Seaside is organised by Agency Live, with many years of experience producing major cultural events such as Żywiec Męskie Granie, as well as T-Mobile Electronic Beats, Sea You Music Showcase, Mata Tour, SBM Festiwal, Fryderyki, Zalewski MTV Unplugged and Wodecki Twist.
The festival is co-created by the team from of Radio 357, Poland's most popular internet radio station, funded by its Listeners. We encourage you to listen to programmes devoted to Inside Seaside, take part in competitions, and, above all, meet the journalists who, during the festival, will host conversations with artists, as well as music, film and culinary programmes, and silent disco.

Here, in the City of Freedom, at the crossroads of European routes, an extraordinary artistic scene has been flourishing for years. It is a modern and open metropolis, with extraordinary potential, which has world-class music in its DNA.
Fresh from the release of their fourth album "Dead Club City", the rock quintet NOTHING BUT THIEVES will come to Inside Seaside. The second headliner, who will play on the Gdańsk Stage, will be TOM ODELL, who will present the minimalist songs from their latest album "Best Day Of My Life" in concert form. Leading names of the contemporary post-punk scene will come to Gdańsk: the contrarian SLEAFORD MODS, whose concerts, stripped of all ornamentation, are an extraordinary musical experience, and SHAME. Both bands will perform material from their releases this year.
In the extraordinary space of the Theatre Stage, will perform NILS FRAHM, who unconventionally combines classical music with electronic music, as well as BARTEK WĄSIK,who will perform songs by the band Radiohead. Inside Seaside is backing young faces appreciated by audiences, who are becoming increasingly recognisable on the Polish scene: performing at the festival will be DAWID TYSZKOWSKI put on a gripping, edgy performance, as did KAŚKA SOCHACKA, winners of the "Sanki" poll.
The guitar part of the programme will be completed by the British band BLACK HONEY, as well as reactivated this year KIM NOWAK the Waglewski brothers. A breath of sea air will be provided by one of the most famous Polish pianists, LESZEK MOŻDŻER. The icing on the cake will be the reactivation of the band KURY, which will perform in full "P.O.L.O.V.I.R.U.S." – a cult album recorded a quarter of a century ago as a musical pastiche of Poland in the 1990s. The group will perform in the line-up that recorded the album: Tymon Tymański, Piotr Pawlak, Jerzy Mazzoll, Olaf Deriglasoff, Larry Ugwu and Grzegorz Nawrocki.
