Fruitful meeting of the BALTEXPO 2023 Programme Council

On Tuesday, 4 July, another meeting of the BALTEXPO 2023 Programme Council was held. It is clear that the Fair is drawing closer, as the programme, the promotion of the event and the conference schedule are all becoming more and more defined.

Above all, during the third meeting of the Programme Council, a shared path for BALTEXPO was worked out, satisfactory to all. Not only for this year, but – it seems – for future editions too.

The Council noted the excellent work done, especially in terms of PR, but also had no reservations about the current shape and stage of preparations for the autumn event.

An important point of Tuesday's meeting was, above all, the presentation of the outline programme of the Conference, which BALTEXPO is preparing jointly with Forum Okrętowe, the Union of Maritime Cities and Communes, Deloitte, the National Chamber of Maritime Economy, the Gdańsk Economic Development Agency, DNV, the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, Pracodawcy Pomorza, the Maritime University of Technology in Szczecin and the Union of Small Ports.

Another important issue raised was the Golden Anchors, which are to be awarded in the following categories: Shipbuilding Industry, Offshore, Infrastructure, Military, Innovation and Maritime Economy Personality. Entries will be collected from 10 July until 31 August. Then – from 1 to 20 September – the jury will have time to select the winners, who must be announced by 30 September.0
