We've done a lot to make sure TEK.day 2024 Gdańsk is unlike both last year's edition and any other event in Poland.
As for the main part of the whole meeting - the table-top trade fair - we've changed the space allocated for stands. Instead of a too-cramped conference centre, we've moved to a spacious exhibition hall, meaning the stands themselves will be bigger, the aisles far more comfortable, and there will be plenty of room for coffee and business conversations. Another benefit from visitors' point of view is a significantly greater number of exhibitors, of whom we already have more than 200.
Some of our exhibitors will already be familiar to you from previous editions of our events, though many are completely new companies. As every year, we've invited a major components distributor to collaborate – our partner for the upcoming edition is Rutronik – who will bring to TEK.day several companies not yet seen in Poland. Another factor is the accessible pricing policy for exhibitors, which means they represent a mix of both major international companies and smaller players who could become your valuable partners. Our consistent goal is to offer visitors as wide a choice as possible of potential partners, so that in a single day they can tackle the challenges of building a reliable supply chain in the electronics industry.
Things will also get international. On the eve of TEK.day Gdańsk 2024, our company will co-host a conference under the banner of the international organisation IPC, Day EMS Gdańsk. This will be a meeting of representatives from key EMS companies across Europe, whom you'll be able to meet the following day at TEK.day. We'll soon share more details via tek.info.pl
In 2024 we also have a special guest, Dieter Weiss, who runs the most recognised and respected analytical firm in the European EMS industry, in4ma, working closely with European IPC structures. Our guest will present the latest data from the European EMS industry, about which he seems to know everything. And believe me: a meeting with Dieter isn't a lecture, it's an experience - a huge amount of concrete, important information, delivered with a healthy dose of humour. We also shouldn't forget the other speakers, who have prepared two tracks of inspiring talks.
Another new addition is the presentation of the report "Achievements and Development Prospects of the Semiconductor Industry in Poland". Last year's announcement of Intel's new investment in Poland is probably the most important change in recent years, one we believe will enable the development of an almost entirely new semiconductor manufacturing industry in Poland. This is what our report, created together with renowned partners Invest in Pomerania and the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, is about. The report will be presented by our patrons, who will also invite guests to a highly interesting panel discussion during TEK.day Gdańsk 2024. It's also worth mentioning that the patrons of TEK.day Gdańsk 2024 are both PAIH and PFR, who will present an innovative offer of financial support for companies.
2024 brings a completely new look for TEK.day: diverse, international, with the participation of partners important to the entire electronics industry. Partnership is precisely the key word for us, and that's why we organise TEK.day in Wrocław and in Gdańsk: so that you can meet your current and future partners.
