On 30 October 2024, the AMBEREXPO Exhibition and Congress Centre in Gdańsk will host another edition of the Pomeranian Intermodal Transport Congress. The event has become a permanent fixture in the calendar of the Polish transport and infrastructure sector. The Congress is organised by the TOR Economic Advisory Group and Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie.
Every year, the Congress welcomes hundreds of participants representing business, academia, central and local government authorities, employers' organisations and companies from the intermodal transport sector.
In the afternoon of 29 October 2024, the day before the Pomeranian Intermodal Transport Congress, the organisers invite you to a study visit to the investment being carried out by Budimex – the T3 container terminal at Baltic Hub in the Port of Gdańsk viewed from the land side.
The main themes of this year's event will include the north–south corridor and investments that will boost trade with the markets of Central and Eastern Europe, ideas for increasing volumes transported by rail — including a "timetable" for intermodal transport and greater discipline in the punctual running of freight trains — and the synergy between port and rail development amid a wave of major investments.
