A joint initiative of the City of Gdańsk and Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie enables residents of the Piecki-Migowo district to buy fresh fruit and vegetables from regional farmers. The initiative has proved very popular, so it has been extended into November and December.

The Piecki-Migowo district is seeing a steady rise in new housing developments and residents. Despite the area's dynamic life and vigorous growth, its residents remain attached to traditional forms of trade such as local markets. That's why, on a pilot basis this year, every Saturday in September and October, at the square at the junction of Bulońska and Rakoczego streets, stalls selling fresh produce appeared.

The intention of Gdańsk's city authorities is for healthy fruit and vegetables from local farms to be available to as many residents as possible, with the sales venues fostering community meetings and integration. This initiative has proved so successful that it has been extended to include Saturdays in November and December!

This time the market will feature only fruit and vegetable sellers. The „Flea market”, which was part of the initiative, ended at the close of October. However, it may well return in future editions of the „Piecki-Migowo Little Market”.

Join us at the junction of Bulońska and Rakoczego streets, 9:00–14:00, on: 4, 18, 25 November and 2, 9 and 16 December.
