EuroSkills 2023 is the eighth edition of the European Championships in vocational skills.
From 5 to 9 September, the AMBEREXPO grounds and Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk will become the arena in which 600 competitors from 32 countries will compete during EuroSkills 2023. They will compete for the title of European Champion in 43 disciplines, including furniture-making, floristry, baking and vehicle mechanics.
Spectators will be able to follow the competition and also try their hand in the “Try-a-Skill” zones. It's a great opportunity to encourage young people to develop their passion and prepare for their future profession. About the event
EuroSkills Gdańsk 2023 will take place both inside the AMBEREXPO halls and in marquees set up in the car park of the Gdańsk International Fair and at Polsat Plus Arena Gdańsk. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held directly on the stadium pitch.The competition grounds cover 50,000 m² and 16 marquees divided into zones, hosting competitions across six different themes:
- Construction technology
- Art and fashion
- Information and communication technology
- Manufacturing and engineering technology
- Social services
- Transport and logistics

What attractions await spectators?
- Opening ceremony (5.09, 19:30) featuring performances by DJ Gromee, Tetiana Galitsyna and Tony Dream
- Three days (6.09 – 8.09) of exceptional competitive excitement – with four representatives from Pomerania taking part!
- “Try-a-Skill” zones, where visitors can try their hand at the competition skills
- The City of Gdańsk stand, with challenges covering entrepreneurship, skills development and the professions of the future
- 10 food trucks
- Closing ceremony (9.09, 18:00) with performances by Kamil Bednarek and Sound N’ Grace, plus a light show
