Energa Gdańsk Maraton is run under the slogan “Run in the city of freedom!”. The programme comprises four races: the marathon, the marathon relay, the Czaniecka Piątka 5 km run and Energa Gdańsk Maraton Junior. The main organiser is Energy Events.

The EXPO Zone in Hall A is open on Friday 14:00–21:00, Saturday 10:00–21:00 and Sunday 7:00–15:00. AMBEREXPO also hosts the award ceremonies for all the races.
