The upcoming edition of the Fair is built above all on proven and well-loved ideas for staying active in later life. Those who cannot imagine life without work and take genuine joy in it will be pleased to find 40 exhibitors with job offers for seniors. It is worth preparing for those meetings with employers in advance in the personal development zone, where experts will help visitors write a CV, go through a mock job interview or have a photograph taken for the perfect resume that will impress many a recruiter.
The health zone will be full of doctors and specialists who will help seniors keep their bodies in the best possible condition for years to come. They will offer free ultrasound examinations, blood pressure and body weight measurements, as well as blood composition analysis. Visitors will also talk about healthy eating, benefit from physiotherapy treatments and take part in numerous first aid demonstrations.
Visitors can also take care of themselves in the fashion and beauty zone, where, under the guidance of professional beauticians, make-up artists and hairdressers, women and men alike will undergo a real makeover!
There will be time for more serious conversations in the useful information zone, where visitors will find police officers, municipal guards and experts from the Social Insurance Institution, the National Revenue Administration and the Municipal Consumer Ombudsman, as well as notaries. They will advise on how to guard against common dangers and explain the intricacies of inheritance, commercial and tax law.
Visitors to the Fair can also count on a generous dose of movement and culture. The activity zone will make time for dance shows, an electric bike ride, a boxing lesson and even sessions preparing for winter swimming! Entertainment of the highest order will come from the leisure zone, where the Baltic Opera, the Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre, the Provincial and Municipal Public Library, the Wybrzeże Theatre and Kino Kameralne Cafe will present what they have to offer. Themed workshops and painting exhibitions are planned here too.
As in previous editions of the event, the fair space will be filled with flavours from a wide range of cuisines. Pascal Brodnicki will prepare his signature dishes during a live cooking show. Visitors will also have the chance to sample grilled sausages and pea soup, among other treats.
The stage programme will be filled with meetings with exceptional guests. Katarzyna Dowbor will reveal what working in front of the camera is really like and talk about the emotions that come with television, while Piotr Pustelnik will take his audience on an inspiring journey through a world of dreams, perseverance and reaching summits. The stage will be hosted by Szymon Jachimek. There will also be musical performances by the band 2plus1, Cappella Gedanensis and Violetta Kapcewicz, winner of the 7th edition of “The Voice Senior”.
