5th Congress on Legal and Civic Education

AMBEREXPO, Gdańsk

The 5th Congress on Legal and Civic Education, held under the banner “Education of tomorrow: Law, technology and civic agency”, is Poland’s largest nationwide forum for exchanging experience among representatives of the legal professions, public institutions and the education community. Admission is free; organisers: the National Chamber of Legal Advisers, the TENEO Foundation and the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Gdańsk.

The Congress on Legal and Civic Education is the continuation of an initiative that, over its four editions, has become the largest nationwide forum in Poland — a space for exchanging experience, good practices and ideas between representatives of the legal professions, social organisations and public institutions and teachers, educators and academics.

Together we look for proven tools and solutions that will help to spread legal and civic education across the Polish education system in a modern and effective way, answering the question: how to teach in order to genuinely engage young people.

This year’s edition, under the banner “Education of tomorrow: Law, technology and civic agency”, responds to the most pressing challenges facing today’s schools. Besides the opening plenary debate, the programme features practical panels and workshops. We will talk, among other things, about building a “safety net” in crisis situations, responding to digital threats, the ethical and practical use of artificial intelligence (AI) in a teacher’s work, and about effectively securing funding for educational initiatives.

The event is organised by the National Chamber of Legal Advisers, the TENEO Foundation and the District Chamber of Legal Advisers in Gdańsk. Participation is entirely free of charge, although the number of places is limited.
