As it does every year, the City of Gdańsk is awarding honours and prizes to its most outstanding athletes. This year, after two years of online meetings caused by the pandemic, the Gdańsk Sports Gala will take place on 8 December at the International Fairground Gdańsk.
Prizes will be awarded to the best male and female athletes, coaches and trainers in the following categories:
- Sportsperson of the Year (top ten)
- Disabled Sportsperson of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Gdańsk Sporting Hope of the Year
- Team of the Year
- Sporting Event of the Year
