After a 27-year break, Gdańsk once again hosted a gathering of the New Hanse, one of the largest city-network organisations in the world. As part of the 44th International Hanseatic Days, an Economic Forum was held at AMBEREXPO, bringing together representatives of the business community from Hanseatic cities and the Pomeranian region. The event was organised with the participation of the Gdańsk Economic Development Agency (InvestGDA).
The Economic Forum held as part of the 44th Hanseatic Days was inaugurated by a debate entitled "Innovative economy in Gdańsk".
Its participants were:
- Alan Aleksandrowicz – Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Port of Gdańsk Authority
- Robert Chryc-Gawrychowski – President of Northvolt Poland
- Dr Eng. Mariusz Deja, habilitated – Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Ship Technology, Gdańsk University of Technology
- Jowita Kacik – Head of Communications at Polpharma Biologics
- Adam Żołnowski – Deputy CEO of Baltic Hub
During the forum, four discussion panels took place with representatives from institutions such as: Northvolt Poland, Gdańsk University of Technology, Baltic Hub, Polpharma Biologics Starter Incubator, Interizon, Boeing, Baltic Towers, Ad Astra, POLSA, BlueDot Solutions, and the Port of Gdańsk Authority.
