Crowds at the Targi Rzeczy Ładnych fair

Around 7,000 people visited the Targi Rzeczy Ładnych fair, which we hosted at AMBEREXPO on 13 and 14 May. Crowds of visitors were able to browse as many as 260 stalls and choose from thousands of products and items. This was the first edition of the event in Gdańsk.

Usually, fine weather doesn't encourage people to visit indoor events. Instead, people tend to go for walks. This time, however, it was different. The almost summer-like weather didn't leave the Targi Rzeczy Ładnych fair empty. Throughout almost the entire day, a steady stream of people flowed into AMBEREXPO. They had waited too long for the first TRŁ in the Tricity.

Targi Rzeczy Ładnych is one of the largest events in Poland devoted to design in the broad sense. Those who visited AMBEREXPO on the May weekend could choose from furniture, lamps, posters, candles, textiles, cosmetics and jewellery. An added bonus was the chance to meet the makers directly, who spoke in detail about their products.

For many visitors, the TRŁ fair was an opportunity to put the finishing touches to their home interiors. That's exactly the point of the event – not full furnishing (though many would probably be capable of that), but adding elements that give a space character.

During the Targi Rzeczy Ładnych fair at AMBEREXPO, it was noticeable that the stalls attracting the most interest were those selling ceramics, posters and jewellery – that is, those offering the most affordable products, but also items that have been most popular recently.

The first Gdańsk edition of TRŁ proved to be a huge success, and we can't wait for the next editions by the sea!
