Crowds at the Gdańsk Secondary School Fair

On Saturday, 1 April, AmberExpo hosted the Gdańsk Secondary School Fair. The event was aimed at eighth-grade students and their parents and guardians, who turned out in large numbers at our venue. The aim of the event was to introduce young people to the offerings of Gdańsk secondary schools and to support them in choosing their further educational path.

During the fair, 15 vocational schools and 19 general secondary schools presented their offerings. An additional highlight of the event was a special zone where visitors could talk to career advisors and get information about this year's admission rules, the educational offer, study conditions, and ask questions of teachers and students from specific institutions.

The event's programme also included a debate and the gala of the Employer Friendly to Gdańsk Vocational Schools competition, during which awards were presented to 15 companies, and the Grand Prix award went to Fakro, nominated by Renata Wypasek, headteacher of the State Building Schools (PSB).

During the fair, participants also had the opportunity to visit the EuroSkills Gdańsk 2023 stand, an international, recurring event aimed at promoting professional skills. In addition, guests could look inside the Mobile Education Centre – a modern space for those interested in European educational programmes and the latest technologies.

During the Gdańsk Secondary School Fair, students also nominated selected partners and presented them with statuettes in thanks for their support. Participants of the event also had access to a special chillout zone, prepared by our St Dominic's Fair.
