BALTEXPO Programme Council meeting

On Thursday, 13 April, AMBEREXPO hosted a meeting of the Programme Council of the 22nd International Maritime Fair and Conference BALTEXPO. The lively discussion brought everyone closer to achieving the goal of creating an event in a modern, refreshed format. Organised for the first time by Międzynarodowe Targi Gdańskie S.A., the event is set to bring a breath of fresh air and draw on the most cutting-edge technological solutions.

During the meeting, attendees were presented with what had already been finalised – such as the list of speakers and the layout of stands in the hall – as well as what still needs work. It was also announced that the exhibitor list would most likely be published in early May. Strong emphasis was also placed on innovation and modern solutions, which this year's cooperation with infoShare ensures.

– The discussion must have momentum – said Andrzej Bojanowski, President of MTG, during the Programme Council meeting. This applied to the conference itself, but it turned out that livening up the conversation also helped spark a brainstorming session that produced numerous voices and ideas concerning BALTEXPO. Speakers included – besides the MTG board and those responsible for the project on behalf of AMBEREXPO – representatives of the Programme Council, including: Inacio Golebski of DNV Polska, Marek Dzida of Gdańsk University of Technology, Agnieszka Robakowska of the Maritime Office in Gdynia, and Ireneusz Karaśkiewicz of the Shipping Forum.

With the help of our partners, we are creating the largest International Maritime Fair and Conference in Central and Eastern Europe, which will take place at AMBEREXPO on 10–12 October. Wednesday's meeting brought together the leading representatives of the maritime industry. Besides the discussion mentioned above, a preliminary conference agenda was also presented, and information was shared on Institutional and Media Patronage.
