PLN 310,886 – this is the amount raised during the two editions of the #MealForEffort campaign. Thanks to funds contributed by local businesses and private individuals, it was possible to fund 20 380 meals. The first edition of the campaign took place in spring 2020, and the second a year later – at the beginning of 2021. The beneficiaries of the campaign were mainly medics saving the health and lives of Pomerania's residents (including those working at the temporary hospital at AMBEREXPO), but also seniors who, during the difficult time of the pandemic, could not get help with everyday shopping from their loved ones. The campaign also helped save local catering businesses, which were unable to run their normal operations due to sanitary restrictions. |
